Ear Surgery

James had to get tubes put in his ears this week and thankfully it went really well. We had to reschedule the surgery to this weekend so it snuck up on us, but I'm glad we got it done because he was already starting to get another ear infection. Here he is waiting on the doctor and his little supporter is right beside him. She wore her pajamas too so he wouldn't feel alone. They came in and gave him some nose drops that made him super loopy. At first it was really sad watching him go from happy busy toddler to drunken silly toddler, but once he was officially loopy he was cracking us up. This was his loopy smile and from start to finish it took about 5 seconds to create this. It was so funny watching him do everything in slow motion.

He kept pretend calling people on my phone and would say, "hhheeeelllllooooo". His speech was soooo slow that is sounded hilarious.

Then once the surgery was over it took him about 4 hours to get back to "normal" and he snapped out of it just in time to receive his "care package" from Mimi and Randad. He was so happy to have some new stuff to play with.

Thanks for the prayers. He's doing great and we are hoping that this surgery will help him stay healthy. 7 ear infections in 5 months was no way for a little guy to live.

Aww, I got the boys that "In the Beginning" book too! They love the songs on the CD. Glad little man is ok!
