What's All The Fun About?

This was my child yesterday. Excited!! Why was he so excited?
Why was he cheering and laughing so hard that I couldn't get a clear picture of him?

What is so fun that you scream and shout and bang your hands on the table?

Honestly this was a new kind of excitement for him. He was really thrilled.

You can tell by his crazy pictures that he really loves . . .

Tracing his letters. I'm not sure why these letters were so fun yesterday and where the sudden desire to learn to write came from, but it's here and it's big!

He has never enjoyed tracing, never enjoyed coloring, and never taken any interest in learning to write his letters, but yesterday he woke up from nap and asked to trace letters. He then spent the entire afternoon tracing and bragging about his new skill and has even done his whole alphabet today.

I'm actually really glad this happened, but I'm not sure what caused it. Anyway, that's what all the excitement was about. I guess when your 2 1/2 anything can be exciting.

And don't think our Nana Bear was left out of the tracing time. She has a little book of opposites that she loves to color in and she went to town as well. She loves to color and will always choose that activity over anything.
