We started our pond unit this morning and so far it's going really well. It's a great unit to do with the little boys and my big boy because there is so much that can be learned.
One of the activities that the little boys did today was a "frog hop". They had to hop as far as they could like a frog and then measure their jump with unifix cubes. It also gave us a great chance to look at place value because they split their cubes up into ten trains and then the leftover ones.
